Hammer Gel, Gatorade, Salted Boiled Potatoes, Goo, Power Bars....a buffet of performance food product to replace the calories you may have burned while sitting in traffic or clicking through comcast.

Partake in the carbloaded caffinated prepackaged fuel feast. Nothing says summer like a mouthful of warm choclate muscle milk.

MEEAL 9: EEATEN

The lighting strike brunch on Monument Avenue was eaten without incedent (with exception of a couple of guests being too "Liberty Valanced" to make it to the first couple of courses). There were a few gawkers, photographers, and couch surfers...but the table was generally left to enjoy thier meal in as much peace as a traffic median can allow.

Menu:

Surry Sausage in Buttermilk Pancake with Virginia Maple Syrup

Poached Egg over Wilted Spinach and Surry Ham on English Muffin, topped with Sauce Morney and Roasted Asparaguas

Balsalmic Vinegrette Chicken Salad with Spring Onions, Toasted Pecans, Strawberries, and Crostini

Honey Vanilla Ice Cream with Pecan Lace Cookie

Mimosa
Bloody Mary
Diluted Orange Juice over Ice (for our dehydrated friends)

Dogs Eat Free.

MEEAL 8: Mojo De Ajo-Say What?-EEATEN

La Carta:

Tortilla Soup, both chicken and vegetarian, piled with crispy fresh tortilla chips and accessorized as desired (see list below).

Dessert was a tropical fruit (pineapple, coconut, orange, lemon) sorbet...served in it's shell.

Drinks were buffet style as well, promoting memorable concoctions such as the "Flaming Wheeler"-strawberry puree, lime juice with simple syrup, tonic water, vodka, and a couple drops jalapeno wine.

Meeal 6: WAS A CROCK?

4 crockpots and (at least) 4 pitchers of sangria contributed to the success of Meeal 6.

A secondary "Mediterranean/Morrocan" theme followed the Crockpot theme.
The menu was something like this:

Appetizers of Hummus and Babba Ghanouj w/ toasted pita bread

Morrocan Lamb Stew

Morrocan Tofu Stew.... same as the lamb version, but for hippies

Couscous with pinenuts, feta, currants and peppers

BOSS ribs

BOSS lentils

Braised brussels sprouts

Stewed apples and raisins w/ cinnamon and vanilla ice cream

And Sangria. Lots.

Is a toaster oven souffle possible?
